Our new voice over training site is up and all of our posts from the old site will eventually lead here. This is a good day for us – an does not signify the end of the MineWurx Studio site – it just means that MineWurx Studio is headed in a different direction and all of our voice over coaching and training specific stuff will be listed here from now on.

So if you came to this page expecting the MineWurx Studio banner to pop up – we’re sorry. The banner has changed – but we haven’t – we’re still the same old crusty, grouchy voice over training site we’ve always been. We’re just flying under a different, more appropriately titled flag than before..

Welcome. Please enjoy your time here… and if you Can tell us about any broken links we haven’t found we’d be very grateful..

Slowly but surely we are moving all of our voice over related stuff to the new server. The change was really needed because we’re doing so much to the studio and all of the different web pages we’re working on that we needed to kind of break things up and put them in their own corner.

It’s actually going to work out a lot better to have studio stuff in one place and voice over stuff in another. People we’re getting confused when they came to the MineWurx site looking for studio information and voice over people we’re getting confused when they saw all the studio stuff, so we broke it up.

We were left with the choice of changing the name of the studio site or opening up a new one – so the choice was easy. When you want studio info you find it there – when you want voice over info – you find it here.

We have so many irons in the fire right now that we’re going a little nuts with it all. It’s a good kind of nuts because it’s progress, but it means we’re kind of busy. Here’s what going on:

As far as web sites – we’re developing:

• The new voice over database site
• A marquee voice over site for some of our favorite voice over talent
• A voice over demo production site
• A better voice over talent directory
• A voice over agency website and roster
• and a few other things we’ll tell you about later

We also have some big studio projects we’re just finishing up (all of our equipment from the two studio setups has been consolidated and is now being networked and configured). We started web hosting for voice over web sites recently. We have new videos in the works and we’re trying to reconfigure and redesign the sites we have already.

http://www.michaelminetree.com has already gotten a facelift and is almost done. If anyone needs some video work done for their site please let us know.

And then there is the time we need to coach, do voice work and tidy up all the other loose ends for the new year. So we’re a bit on the busy side. If we’re a little slow returning emails or sending out newsletters we hope you guys can understand. All of it is for the better.
