My lastest Private Message from Voices.com

Most of the time when you get a private message through an online casting site, you kind of get your hopes up that it will be for some voice over work. Well, this one was for some sort of work I’m sure, but it wasn’t your normal, everyday solicitation.

Hi, Michael

You’ve got a message from jenifer wast:

Hi dear,
How are you today, I hope all is well with you My name is miss jenifer wast, I just went Through your profile In this site my dear, I have no options than letting you Know that I am interested knowing more about you If you dont mind, you can send an email to my email address jeniferwast@yahoo.com with your pics and if you cear to tell me more about your self that will be more better, waiting to hear from you soon.
thanks.
jenifer

I couldn’t help but reply.

Dear jenifer,

Thank you for wanting to know more about me, and I do cear to tell you more about me. But I’ll have a hard time sending pics of myself because most often the camera tends to shatter every time somone points one at me. My mommy got me a Fisher Prize camera that is plactic and I have pointed it at myself many times and it still works. Mostly I like looking at the little pictures inside the camera, but there are only 5 of them so most of the time I put it away after taking 10 or 20 pictures.

Mommy says I should not send pictures of myself over the internet because people might thing looking at the size of my head is a crime, but thats ok I dont mind. Its nappy time now. hope you meet lots of nice people on the internet and get pictures from them seeing as how I cant give you any. I don’t want to be a crime guy.

thanks,

Michael

We’ll see if she ever responds…

  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I can confirm that the person who sent you that message was registered as a client and had their account removed due to the activity you described above. People can only email you if they are registered with our site now and by deleting her account she will not be able to contact anyone for purposes of that kind.

Laurynda looked after all of this a few days ago when she emailed the user and asked what her intentions were, stating that if they didn’t reply to her email she would delete their account by the end of the day. The person did reply and admitted they were not using our site for the purpose it was meant for which resulted in the deletion of their account.

I trust this personal note from me has clarified what went on and that the matter was handled promptly and professionally.

    Best wishes,
